For the more passionate and committed dancer, this audition-based program majors in technical and artistic excellence with an emphasis on team achievement through individual growth.
PROGRAMS
Both divisions offer three multi-genre programs based on technical readiness and commitment level (Competition Team I, II and III). Genres include ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and acrobatics. Within each program, dancers are grouped into smaller, age-based teams (Tinies, Sparks, Petites, Minis, Juniors, Pre-teens, Teens and Seniors). Each division also offers a pure hip hop track with teams for dancers who are more interested in that genre. Dancers train 3.5-15+ hours per week, depending on their team and age.
COMPETITIONS & CONVENTIONS
Throughout the year, in addition to technical training, character development, friendship and tons of fun, dancers will learn 2 to 10 competitive routines (including large & small group dances, solos, duos or trios). They will compete those numbers up to six times per year (including one Nationals event for our most competitive teams). Dancers will also attend conventions taught by the most sought-after instructors.
