DANSPIRATION 2023

All About Dance holds an annual Recital every June. The recital is a ticketed show where your dancer will showcase all their training and hard work from lessons taken throughout the year on stage! Your dancer will perform one (or more depending on the class) dance with their class!

• Your dancers must be registered for our Winter/Spring session by Sunday, February 26th to participate in the June recital. If you would prefer your dancer NOT participate in our June Recital, please email tori@allaboutdance.org for a prorated rate.

• Our 2023 Recital will take place June 13th-16th. Please note we will not have any weekend shows this year. All shows will begin after 5pm. Exact showtimes and line-ups will be announced March 27th. 

• Recital Fee's are included in Winter/Spring Tuition. This Recital Fee covers your dancers costume, and participation fee. Classes 45min-1hr have a recital fee of $120. Classes 1.5hr-2hrs have a recital fee of $160. The longer classes have a higher recital fee as they will have two dances/costumes in recital. Please note this fee DOES NOT include recital tickets. 

There are many benefits of participating in AAD's annual Recital! Here are just a few:​

• Dancers gain self-confidence, overcome shyness and stage fright by performing on stage in front of family and friends!

• By working with their fellow dancers on a group performance, dancers learn how to work in a team! 

• Athletes have tournaments and dancers have recitals! The weeks/months spent preparing for a recital teaches students how to work towards a goal. Dancers take pride in conquering new steps they’ll be able to show off.

• Preparing for a recital is a way for dancers to work on retention skills, rhythm, technique, and more. For students who have never performed before, recital introduces new terminology.

• Recital memories are lifelong memories! Costumes become treasured keepsakes. Meanwhile, recital pictures become the highlights of photo albums. For families, the recital is a time to celebrate their dancer’s achievements. For dancers, the recital instills a passion for the art of dancing and performing.

• We are thrilled to announce we will be returning to Francis W. Parker School (330 W Webster Ave) for our recital this year! 

• Recital tickets will go on sale May 1st, 2023. Ticket prices will range from $25-$45 for recreational shows.
