On May 19, 2020, MBM Dance Studio, located at 79th street, and families living about their building lost everything in a horrible fire. Fortunately, everyone was safe, but the studio these kids called home was destroyed along with their belongings. MBM's owner was dedicated to building a new home for her dancers & asked the community for help.

 

"Barbie, MBM's founder and artistic director, says she is committed to "touching even more lives." She is even installing a washer and dryer for her students to do their laundry because she says many kids need help keeping their school clothes clean. She is working hard to ensure that her students have another home very soon" (Miss Alexa).

 

All About Dance donated 102 pairs of

jazz shoes and 71 pairs of tights

to MBM dancers!

All About Dance has partnered with Marshall Field Gardens to teach dance to underprivileged youth in our community!

 

Uniting our community and giving the gift of dance to the underserved and overlooked is the number one commitment of Beyond the Dance Floor. AAD is proud to say we are working with the Marshall Field Gardens youth community! Over the next two years, as we expand and develop this program, our goal is to significantly increase the number of students we are able to support. Your generous donations will make this goal a reality!
