Beyond the Dance Floor
I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and that all of you managed to squeeze in some rest, relaxation, and FUN!
I’ve been reflecting on the past incredible year, including our memorable recital and AMAZING Nationals showing and I am, yet again, so grateful for everything that is All About Dance and Dance Forever. And it is not lost on me that I have each of YOU to thank for making our studios the special places they are. You continue to inspire confidence in our students, infuse their lives with your industry-leading choreography and instruction, and create a place for all to feel welcome and loved. We wouldn’t be who we are without each of you!
While I hope each one of you will remain an active part of our staff forever, I’m humbly reminded that the time for some of you to spread your wings and fly might come sooner than later and that new roles are something to be celebrated. With that in mind, I would like to announce the following staff updates:
Miss Becca will be transitioning from her current administrative role to focus exclusively on teaching with Dance Forever going forward. I want to thank Becca for always putting so much time, energy, and love into overseeing so much to ensure our studio ran as efficiently as we could and looked good while doing it! I am thrilled she will be staying with us as part of the Dance Forever family and can’t wait to see more of her red hot choreography under the disco ball!
Miss Jo will be transitioning to a new role of Front of House Manager and Events Specialist and we are so happy to have her taking point for these responsibilities! I look forward to Jo helping to keep everything in order and making sure all of our events are as special as can be. I’m also looking forward to keeping her on staff as an instructor. Thank you, Jo!
Miss Lucia will also be stepping into a new role supporting all of our Directors as the Directors Assistant and as well as working closely with Jo as our new Front Desk Lead. I’m so happy to have Lucia in this role, and having her also continue as an instructor on staff. Thank you, Lucia!
Miss Camryon has made the difficult decision to move on not only from our AAD studio but from Chicago as well. She will be returning to California to be closer to her family and, on behalf of the entire studio, I want to wish her all of our very best. Thank you, Camryon, for all of the love, energy, and talent you shared with us. You made an impact on so many of us and we appreciate you so much. Please come back to visit!
Miss Megan and her husband have made the exciting decision to explore opportunities for their next place of residence and will be relocating to Nashville this fall. Megan has been an integral part of creating the Dance Forever experience, pouring her heart and talent into everything from the brand itself to the in-class experience. I cannot thank her enough for all she has contributed and I look forward to convincing her to help be a part of our brand expansion in the Nashville community:)!
Miss Morgan will be moving on to her next full-time career in the hospitality industry this fall. Morgan has done so much in helping to level up everything from our Acro classes to our social media to our new website. While working with us she wore so many hats, was willing to jump in to help whenever needed, and so graciously shared her talents with us. Morgan hopes to stay close, continuing to root us all on, and maybe even subbing and contributing here and there. Thank you, Morgan, for all you have contributed to AAD and Dance Forever!
Introducing Miss Stacy! Stacy Marquardt comes to us after a 20+ career in merchandising, marketing, and strategy at Target and with a lifetime of dance performance, educator, and coaching experience. She will be stepping in part-time behind the scenes to help drive and operationalize marketing and communications efforts for AAD and Dance Forever, supporting all of our Directors and me! Welcome, Stacy!
I’m so excited for everyone’s new journeys and, again, am so grateful for the mark you have all left on the studios and on me!
