Jessica Ortega began her studies in classical ballet with Pamela Johnson Tanis of American Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet. She received her early tap and jazz training under the instruction of Julie Cartier of Especially Tap Chicago and Arianne Dolan of Joseph Holmes Dance.
Jessica spent many summers studying at Joel Hall and Lou Conte dance studios before continuing her dance education at the University of Iowa where she studied under Linda Crist. While at Iowa, she performed and competed with the university’s dance team. Jessica has been teaching for 10 years at various studios in the Chicago land area. In her classes, she hopes to reinforce a positive, creative and fun learning environment for all levels of education. |
